Use of the Roy The Mover site — along with any quote or reservation you begin through it — falls under the terms laid out here. Browsing these pages or putting our crew to work signals that you accept them.
What This Site’s Text Means
Everything published across these pages is general background on the moving work we do. On its own it creates no agreement; the estimate you sign off on and the bill of lading you put your name to are what actually control your move.
Estimates And Your Reservation
- Every estimate reflects the rooms, items, access, and dates you describe
- Local jobs bill hourly or as a flat written rate, with a one-hour minimum
- A deposit reserves your date and is credited to the final bill
- If the real job differs from what you described, we discuss any change first
Coverage And Liability Standards
| Item | Terms |
|---|---|
| Released-value coverage | $0.60 per pound per item, included |
| Full-value protection | Available up to $1,000,000 in cargo, for an added fee |
| Deposit | Reserves your date, credited to the final bill |
| Balance | Due when the move is complete |
Claims And Governing Law
Report any loss or damage in writing within the window your moving agreement and Illinois law allow, and we will walk you through the claim. Should any disagreement arise about the move, the contract you signed and its bill of lading are the final word.
Nothing on this site is binding by itself; only the approved estimate and the signed bill of lading set the real terms of your move.
